England is a location I always enjoying visiting in books and films. In the first of five final adaptations, 'Elephants Can Remember', Poirot is joined by his old friend writer Ariadne Oliver to investigate a pair of parallel cases, with past and present converging. Of course, it’s always great to see Ariadne! She’s a strong character! I love most of the fashions from this time period, so the costumes in this film are wonderful. It’s a little creepy, but I thought it was the music making it creepy. I do reread books and I reread fairly frequently, so it won’t be a problem to reread this mystery. I own this book and according to the date, in my copy, I read it in 2012! Well! No wonder I didn’t remember the story when Rick and I watched the film today.
